St Ambrose Catholic Primary School

Our team of stonemasons, concreters, carpenters, and landscapers were able to simulate some of nature’s most inviting settings with this primary school playscape.

By employing a range of hardscape techniques, a running creek was constructed which features a river rock pebble creek bed, granite boulder edge, a timber bridge, and a push button plumbing system to allow students to control the creek’s water flow. Next to the stream sits a bespoke bush café which provides a covered area for the students to hone their social skill.

A short walk along the timber boardwalk that crosses the dry creek bed, and the students will arrive at an adventure-packed large mound with a tunnel, slide, timber log and boulder climbs, and elevated gardens. While a walk along the timber deck that borders the large undercover sandpit leads the students to a course of timber balance beams and climbing structures aimed at developing fine motor skills.
